Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was quite handy, providing easy access to Chatham, Rochester, and the train station, which was a big plus. However, the rooms were a bit tired and in need of redecorating, and some cleanliness issues were noticeable, like a dirty carpet. The service, on the other hand, was excellent, with staff being very obliging and accommodating to special requests, especially Christina who went out of her way to ensure our comfort. The dining experience was decent but lacked variety, and the facilities were satisfactory.
I found the hotel to have quirky, boutique decor that gave it an individual and homey quality, but the rooms were a bit small, making it hard to feel truly comfortable. The amazing view and recent decoration were nice touches. The service fulfilled our needs well, though the lack of a uniform in the bar and reception was noticeable upon arrival. The location was excellent, with easy access to various places and allowed for early check-in and bag storage. The dining experience, however, was disappointing, with cold food and limited choices. Overall, a mixed experience with some notable highlights and drawbacks.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were well presented and quirky, which added character. They were spacious and equipped with useful amenities like a trouser press, additional fan heater, and an iron and ironing board, but there was a terrible sterile smell that was off-putting. The staff were great, going out of their way to accommodate my requests and fix any issues promptly. The location was convenient, being between Rochester and Chatham, with easy access to town centers and public transport. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a decent choice available. Overall, a positive and comfortable stay.
